Well I have started a mlm program call skinnybodycare, it says you can get money without enrolling anyone. I have found this to be true but with a special consideration. this only happens when your upline enrolls someone and they are placed under. when the person who enrolls you then enrolls another person you can commision that person also. however I found the person just is also new to this so Looks like I am going to have to work for it afterall. make $1618 without enrolling anyone it said, maybe she will be able to enroll some people.

Every year the studios send out dvd's to sag members so they can bribe us to vote for the movie. things have been a little dull on the acting front for me. I was going to make a demo reel but Didn't go through with it. I still want to shoot it with create your reel but not sure when It's going to happen at this point.

Daytrading
I made a few white trades(practice trades with no reel money) in the amount $25000. I made quite a killing. Of course there is no actual threat of loss with a white trade. But if the white trades have any reel reflection on my future actual performance, not only will this be side job but we let me live it up. 33% gains on $25000 is $8250 for a trade. To good to be true some say. Unlike other people I believe to good to be true can be real. That you can have your cake and eat it too! I am going to get rich, Be a successful professional actor and even take out the hot blond I met at the gym. or maybe one just like her.

ACTING
The Feeding frenzy has stopped, I am no longer getting auditions back to back to back or lately at all. I did get an offer for an interview tilmar talent agency but I passed. I really need to say something about this business, why is that when I have everything world ready I don't get called. for example it takes me a full tank just to get to la and back to my house and gas it expensive. when I have all the money in the world to fill my tank and get whatever else I need, including private audition coaching no calls. then when I broke and probably need to borrow gas money I get three auditions on the same day and one the next day.

FACEBOOK
I have heard that facebook will be having an IPO next year. there are different reports as to when. I would like to get i on the ground floor of this. I have missed several opportunities in the past for other stocks. I missed the Google ipo which i could have gotten in on through a site called openipo.com for faccebook I have taken steps to insure this doesn't happen. I have been approved on secondmarket.com and sharespost.com to buy shares from private companies one of which is facebook. plenty of others on those sites also. I need $25000 min to invest and there is still a chance that nobody excepts my bid. wish me luck!

Dropshipping

I have continued to dropship items on sites like ebay & amazon. ebay has gotten a little stingy won't allow me to make then a thousand dollars a month.BOO! however i did make around $5000 off amazon.com I have been told I should expand and start a store. but the people understand how restrictive amazon and eBay's rules are. I really don't believe I can pull a profit carrying merchandise on amazon or ebay or both with carrying merchandise. Amazon currently the amount of sales a new seller can make also. but if you go over there restriction they put a reserve on your account. if anybody complains even one person your s.o.l. no money for you. for 90 days. but I have this happen to me before and I didn't get shit in 90 days. If i bought the items wholesale I would have had to eat $2000 worth of product which were shipped and not paid for. by using dropship wholesaler, the one I use anyways I was able to halt the shipment of most of the products I had already shipped. I there fore lost less money then I would have if i had shipped my products.

since my last time I posted a blog I haven't really done any auditions or anything. My was told that I should reshoot my pics but I currently don't have the cash to do that. Besides the pictures i have worked great but for some reason they only worked great on Lacasting.com. The other sites not even a nibble. The other sites being actorsaccess.com & nowcasting.com. Since then I have know got a small digital camera and tripod that I can shoot videos, Like the video auditions I sometimes get. I also had money to rent a car but After one rental it was maxed out. So I found that can not depend on a rental car get to auditions. Last time I solved that problem by buying a cheap transportation car, That was a big mistake, I dropped $2000 trying to get cheap car on the road and legal and all I got for my trouble was a an empty bank account.
                   I am setting a goal to move to la By the end of the summer. Not that buying a car and commuting wouldn't be easier to do,but in the long rung moving is much better then commuting. Commuting has caused a lot problems besides the predictable ones. Like the costs of gas is higher on the commute.
                  Some problems with commuting are:
1)              can't make some auditions because of time constraints
2) maintain a steady job in my town I live then commuting is impossible
3)               every audition takes all day
4)                networking is difficult
5)                overall is more expensive then living in LA when you ad extra transportation costs, insurance, auto maintenance,

I just receieved my casting frontier card. I have yet to actually use the card. But the card seems it will be pretty usefull when auditioning at certian casting facalities. after the photo session I then headed over to on your mark studios for the filming of an actor slate. I arrived to see the room packed with people, there were 2 auditions going on at the same time. One was for a Disney shoot and the was for sesame street. I just kinda wondering which ones where using the tall model's. after a short wait i was invited back to film the actor slate. The models quickly on how I got to go in before them and I just got there. I just told them I was a V.I.P. the truth was I paid $200 to film the actor slate and get a copy of the finish product. The actor slate consisted of a camera operator and a person asking questions and I just answered them on camera. They asked a lot of questions, Some of the subjects where Friends, family, hobbies a brief discussion about my acting career.

Of My Resume.... I am taking a spanish class. I have also downloaded some software to aid in the learning process. I honestly dropped the ball on this one. I have been offered speaking parts before despite the fact that I am far from fluent and unfortunately I had turn them down. The last one was from Jimmy kimmel show which was an under 5. This was a few years ago. So far the flipping sideline still hasn't given forth it's bounty! Why you ask? I ran out of money to market. but I am still pushing away finding leads on the Internet and it should only be minor setback. Besides I am expecting a check from my online sales but waiting on alert pay to transfer the money to my bank account. There is potential problem., alertpay informed me that any payment made to me will held for 14 days before being put into my balance, But the money was available and I transferred it. It takes 5 business days. Seems like forever! anyways they have not held the money so far. I hope not it seems like B.S. for B.S. Sake. I want this to hurry so I can get back to my acting.

When I do flip a house I plan doing several things including:

1)    making a short starring myself
2)    renting a place in La/hollywood
3)    Head shots & prints
4)    put together a demo

this process takes me way to long and kinda makes me wish I can find a real job, but it has been so long since I had a boss aka job that People don't really hire me because they I haven't done anything with myself. But come on who sites on there ass all there life. The jobs I have had?

More stuff that I can't remember right now. there is many more yet employers don't interview, probably because I have this mentality that won't allow me to dedicate my life to something that will never go anywhere. My grandfather worked and dedicated himself to one company for the majority of his life. One day they laid him off with severance package that didn't last him a year. he was in 60's so finding a job was an uphill battle at best. Why bother? I'd rather enjoy my life and my work!

Side line gig

I am trying to work a new sideline gig. it appears that being an actor is hugely expensive and if your not working 9 to 5 then it really sucks beucase you run out of money. I gotten involved flipping real estate, but have yet to actually do a deal. I have taken several calls from so called cash buyers and the thing is I don't even have anything to sell them yet. Just want to have buyer ready when I do get something. I hear That I can make thousands per deal in profit. WOW that would help and it is also something I can set my schedule which is the ideal situation for an actor.

I have been making the rounds lately, I did a commercial drop at some of the commercial casting facilities. I say some Becuase gas is currently $4.05 per gallon. Seroisly considering getting a feaking Prius. BTW fellow actors I am the only that gets distracted by all the models working as assistants in casting offices. My focus currently is twofold.1) getting the package ready to get an agent 2) Devolop my sidline income into a very lucrative business.

Like my friend Steve Says that's acting 101. Well After that effort I get one and it's theater which is an opportunity to act but you pay monthly fee so IMHO it's not really a job. which is what I was looking for NEXT!

I sold my 1991 Toyota corolla. didn't get much money for it. On the acting front I have been submitting like crazy and had no luck at all. It must be my head shots. So I will make that my next goal to get some quality head shots. My Nissan Maxima is not passing smog so is currently unregistered and has already cost more then $600 in repairs. Why cant anything ever be easy! Also that money was supposed to be for me new apartment, not happening yet! If I am like other actors believe that this stuff happens to me so that I can pay my dues. That pretty much means that I am going to be super famous one day because this kinda thing happens way to often for my taste. I will figure it out and power through this mess, That what I do

Just writing this post to try out my new iPod app. My sideline biz is doing quite well. I got some stuff to do before expecting to book anything, enroll in a class, thinking of Amy lyndon's class. Also thinking about taking Megan foley commercial intensive. The only thing stopping me is I have to get my cars exhaust system fixed so it will pass smog and I don't know how much that will cost.

I am looking forward to getting back to work. 2011 promises to be a great year for me. Been trying to buy a car for a long while I now have two. currently covered in snow in my parking spots. So far it looks like I have the money situation in control. I am self employed and operate a online retail website which is doing great so far. things keep up I will be living hollywood/la in no time. I just bought a 1991 Toyota Carola. There is not much just that drove the car and then bought it. It drives really well for an old car. Just what I need to get me to my auditions. now I think that making money while being unemployed will be much easier if I have a car. The first thing the guy selling said was "everything is paid". I looked at the car and was like wow, The was no license plates on the damn thing. So I drove the damn car 20 miles without being pulled over by police. Lucky police in the high desert are off in some dirt road taking nap usually or I would be out $750. I call it mechanics special because it has a couple of issues. it needs an oxygen sensor to pass smog no big. $50 part and I could replace that myself. The plates just requires a few bucks. after this is done I work on my actor package more on this in my next post. Then move to Hollywood. I almost moved with without a car but I thought I need to be prepared as much as possible to take on Hollywood. meanwhile I will audition in my beater.

I am in Apple valley, Ca With no car so pursuing acting is problematic. It seems that I have to solve my money problems before doing anything acting related. There are so many things that I want to do but without a car some push in the right I am finding it really difficult to accomplish anything. So I have to make money creatively. I have had limited success with doing this. What I mean is I have yet to run business so successful I can make a living at it, or buy a car, move to la or anything that would be huge step in the right direction. This fact all to frustrating because I know so much about this business that I can probably be wildly successful if had the financial resources or support from my family. But I guess I can get past that now! My next move of course is to find a stable sideline and get my ass out of the high desert. I may have found it in Note brokering but it's to early to tell because I have yet to sell any notes Why I am not successful at it yet well the only thing I can tell is that I have yet to invest time and money into. Time is no problem I have plenty of that but only money I got a is from some affiliate program which is like having a part time job sometimes. to some it up just want out a here and in La anyway I can, and I will don anything do to get there. Because there is nothing worst then wasted talent

I recently spent two months in las vegas, in a condo a couple of miles from the strip and I got pretty familiar with the city of las vegas. I was there because I was helping a relative out. In the end that old saying rings true"A good deed never goes unpunished". They paid way up but refuse to pay my way back, only after a little prodding did they finally agree. While I was there I won some money in at the New york new york. About $1000 which I spent later on other things. It's way too hot for comfort there in las vegas. If your going to go stay at the hotels & casinos they better air conditioning then those any apartment/condo. easily got 115 degrees on a regular basis. I Tried to find some productions to work while I was there but only a couple where going out there and they spread out through the year. In the end vegas production is not worth a mention, everything is In LA.

I was contacted by a short film and offered to work as an extra in it for imdb credit. I Don't plan on accepting this offer because 1) extra work don't go an actors resume 2) it would cost me money to play this part 3) I only do extra if I get paid and I need the money. So why take this work there is no benefit for my career but I will inform the director of decision in hopes that he will contact me for a speaking part in the future.

every year about this Sag members receive DVDs from the distributors as a bribe I am guessing to vote for the movie in the sag awards. This year so far I received two DVDs, the first was precious and the second was up in the air starring George Clooney. I am kinda on the fence about a certain issue of course this being my relatives who think being an actor is waste of time and don't count as a job. This is a bunch of b.s. They want to borrow the movies I got on DVD which are still currently in theaters. Considering they are so against it I don't believe I will loaning them the DVDs. Maybe if they showed my chosen profession a little more respect!

Got auditions, I need way more
Was not able to produce my short because I couldn't get people to donate donate or invest my short film. Meaning I need network better in 2010. It is not worth it to me to produce with my own cash and my personal cash flow is reserved other things. The result is i need a more dependable sideline job in 2010.
I got my passport in may, I have yet to use it. I would like to to Bangkok, Thailand and to see Europe, last year my dad moved to Vegas and I know have free place to stay to party he doesn't mind. Yeah dad's cool like that. So off course I will get back to las vegas every now and then to decompress, I find I need to do that more and more, why I don't know.

I have in money hoarding mode for months now, I have made some money but unfortunately I spent it because I went to vegas. Now I am back to getting money from affiliate marketing and it is so far a part time income. With the new year coming to get back to my acting career and get that place in Hollywood/ La. 2 Day film school DVD

I just watched the Dov S.S. Simens Two day film school, there was a lot of info I didn't know about and I have read plenty on the subject of film making and none of them had a complete breakdown of who to hire on what budget like the Two day film school. The only thing that worries me is the method he recommends to raise funds for the film. Which is through forming a company(your production company) and separate LLC or LP for your investors. What worries Is that I am not sure how much I can raise using this method, He says if you don't know anyone do cold calling to dentist or doctors, or set up some social function and invite those same people. You see every book I read talks about raising money through a LLC Or LP but don't talk about who to contact or where to find them he does. I currently writing a screenplay to do just that.

For a while my non acting related income has taken a hit because of big business self interest. My affiliate marketing biz is back up and so is my online retail. just got it the retail up so no results yet but it is just a matter of time. I am seriously considering adding another stream of income in the form of MLM program. all this should give me substantial income to pursue all my acting goals.

I got some downtime & happy 4th

Just Bought Lot's of fireworks and got my hands on some skyrockets from Mexico, these are the kind you see at firework shows, I am basically putting on a fireworks show for my neighborhood. Well My moms neighborhood, to my surprise lighting of fireworks is still legal there. Maybe I take a few pics of the fireworks or something. Just the excuse I needed to get in a little R & R.

The tv/theatrical contract passes with 78% yes vote, I am very disappointed in the results. I didn't want to wait for some miracle moment where every entertainment union bands together in one unified voice! Simply because it will never happen. but we will be back to work, we will only get 24 bucks in residuals for Internet streaming but oh well we will have work, if there nice they will use sag members for original new media productions. we all know how generous and unselfish those producers are! Summer is starting, well I believe it officially starts June 21st, but it is hot and that counts as summer to me. My film was stalled, I am always having money Issues and I am so sick of it! That F****ing site did it again, they are withholding $300 bucks from me so right now I am broke. If a job opportunity opens up I will definitely take advantage of it but I am not holding my breathe for it! Meanwhile I will continue to make money online and the F****ing site I will abandon all together.
Been invited to several auditions since my last post but all for short films and student films. Auditions including renegades, the blanco boys, one nine, well traveled, however I did not book them. I am distracted by other things.

Today I got my passport which I submitted the application for on the 30th of march. I had travel plans to go to Mexico, but this swine flu virus has given me pause. I am probably not going to go there until this whole swine flu flew thing dies down a bit just in case. beyond that Hopefully there will be some good acting jobs available that require passports this Way I can justify the expense to myself.

I just applied for a US passport at the local post office and they tell me it is only 2 or 3 weeks to get nowadays. Off course I got this benefit my career, but nowadays I think It is part of the basic tools actors need.I missed out on parts in the past because I didn't have a passport and add to that jobs would have loved to have but didn't bother because they were traveling to Europe and the turnaround time on the casting was less then a week. It takes around three weeks and at the time there was a backlog and they were taking a few months to process. Now I won't have that Problem!

I can go someone where else next time and now I have a visa. or also there is the Amtrak trains which will get me to Los Angeles union station.I just gotta keep the money coming in.

Well Currently instead of buying I decided to rent, I needed to rent a car to Make a trip to Los Angeles to meet a photographer. I was supposed to use my debit card to put the deposit down and they require a credit check when using a debit card in Lieu of a credit card. MY credit check went through fine but apparently the debit card didn't. According to hurts I didn't have the cash available only $238. B.S. I said I was there when I deposited. in my usual sarcastic nature! This totally delayed my plans for new headshots. So I changed my plans I have to still use my old ones which aren't getting my auditions. I went ahead and put them on imdb. click here .

and I am just realizing it! The holidays are over and it's time to get back to work. I renewed my lacasting membership and will bugging casting people all over Hollywood. I making this declaration right now in print so that I can stick to it. I will Not fall into the extra trap this year.The extra trap is when you perceive extra work as a convenient day job and flexible one you end spending most your time pursuing it and it takes away from being an actor. I have done this before and feel takes away from my acting career and the frequency of the availability sag extra work makes you too broke for the afford the basics so forgot about classes,auditions headshots and other marketing expenses. It's that time again, time for the sag awards wich is coming up on January 25th. when Sag get to see movies for free. Sag emailed some emoviecash to get free admission to a few movies. I chose to go see "The Curios Case of Bejamin Buttons". Well I did not like it, it was boring. When I went to the theatre and presented my Sag card, Id and emoviecash printout to the person working the box office I thought I was only going to get one, But I needed two, actually I could Used four becuase the family was there namely mom, brother, sister and me. I asked for two and he gave one ticket for the emoviecash and another for my sag. I don't know if he was supposed to the printout says to show my sag card and Id also, so i assumed I would only get one, but got two free tickets. I have more emoviecash for "Doubt", "Frost,Nixon","Milk",and "Revolutionary Road". I Haven't seen those yet. Oh yeah I got "The Dark Night" on DVD. Heath Legers perfomance was alright but the movie was too long. I would have regretted paying for this movie.

when I first started acting I was told do student films, get some tape for your demo. well 5 years later and not a single production who promised copy & meals has provided them. Also one of the productions I was in was distributed on home video & dvd. One to my knowledge anyways. I just purchased a copy the wounded on dvd from amazon.com. I had to buy my copy in order to get it problem is it's old now, I have newer credits but not received any copy from them either but it's okay I got a paycheck instead. Anyways I am reserving my decision to use until I see whats on it.

My drivers license has been renewed dispute owing 511 bucks to san bernadino county. Also Bypassed one of my credit issues. You see I had a check bounce a while back and that was reported to chexsystems and it stopped me from getting a checking account. With a little research I found out that Bank of america will give anyone an account as long as you do it online, if you go in the banker person will manually review your chexsystems file, but not on the Internet. So I got an account. whats next is a car and to generate some steady cash flow so I can pursue acting the right way and with the right tools!

I am going to get my license soon I think! so I can LEGALLY DRIVE! I already drive but My license expired and I had a ticket attached to it to the tune of $511. Well I made Payment arrangements with the court and now I have to pay $61 a month for 9 months. But I can get my license after the first payment. Wich I will do as soon as I get the statement.

Today was full disappointments for me. First I went to the DMV Thinking I could get the fine and My drivers license taking care in one shot. But I was wrong I had to go to the courthouse to take care if it. A.K.A. Pay a fine. To add to it the fine is more then I thought and I have get an abstract in order for them notify the DMV. Well The point being didn't have the money Even thought I did. Next On to Best Buy I decided to buy a new laptop and I found the perfect one for me but it was not in stock. I went to see the move "Role Models", I didn't like it but to be fair I was already bummed because I needed the license public transportation is impossible and useless for auditions. I am going to have to get more money and who knows when that will be.

Passive income is income that you don't have to trade your time for. Like at that temp job you really hate, where you clock in and out and paid x amount of dollars per hour. real estate rentals is a prime example of passive income. One of my goals is to get enough passive income to not have to punch a clock, therefore leaving me time to focus all my energy towards my acting career. I am trying to sell stuff on ebay via dropship. Dropship is when a wholesalers agrees to ship the product directly to your customer thus allowing you to sell the product prior to purchasing it. By the way this is completely legal anywhere in ths u.s. OOPS My bad except on eBay I sold $750 worth of stuff on eBay and used paypal to collect the money except the wouldn't release the money. I consulted their terms and it said as soon as I can prove i shipped it(which is not possible since I hadn't bought it yet) or I get good feedback. I contacted my buyers and asked them for good feedback and explained the situation to them. One of them gave me some feedback and thought all was well with at least this one transaction but They did not follow their own terms they now are requiring copies of my bank account, my social, a new bank account, tracking info. this is not what their original terms were. They are effectively blocking $750 worth of sales.

Redoing my image, I used to have long hair I cut it. Going to reevaluate what kind of parts I go for. So I got to redo my headshots. Also I have to pay my union dues now, so I somehow have to come up with that money. I am not working so I am dabbling in online retail, which for me that means I sell stuff on eBay an amazon.com. Last Thursday I was walking home from the library. Well The library literally 2 blocks from where I live so you think I would be able to make it home without being harassed by some bored cop. So I was stopped while walking, When I asked why he stopped my he made a comment that only some dumb shit cop would make. He said " Just want to make sure your not out murdering people". Anyways he put me in the car and for a minute I thought he was taking me jail. Then He found the Sag Card. He asked what the screen actors guild was so I told him. He asked several questions about what it was like to be in movies, the tone shifted from police interview towards curiosity about acting. So he decided I wasn't a murderer and let me go!

I recently attended the actors work program orientation. Despite the name any one who is in the entertainment industry can use the actors work program. I met editors, a set decorator a writer and a allot of actors, all who are looking for work to supplement their income during the writers strike although I suspect most of them would need to supplement their income anyways. The relayed to us a lot information about finding jobs in the regular job market outside the industry and I was given a luandry list of places to apply to. I am looking for survival but they keep stressing that survival job is not the answer. Survival job meaning a waiter or bartender or something like that. I have a meeting with a counselor who discuss with me everything including my industry experience to gauge what I need and point me in the right direction. SO since my last post on September 20th I have had to deal My financial situation. Trying to find this flexible day job other actors keep telling me about. The usuall reaction being , that's cool! that's great! you can time off anytime you want. But it has been a different story when the time comes for to ask time off. Damn It! I should have been born rich I would be much better at it then some of the chumps that were born into rich families. In my quest to find that flexable job I have run into a couple of possibilities. One being investing in real estate through a tax sale. I seen A list sold properties that was post was posted on the la county tax collectors website and the houses went for twenty grand here in La county. Sounds like a golden opportunity but I need 20 grand because the auctions are cash only. I can go promoting adult websites which I might only because you can start for almost nothing, and I know the basics HTML, css, Javascript, search engine marketing. I now need an Internet connection because I log in at the library now but that is temporary.

So far I have only gotten one day work from the temp service so decided to apply for another one but the complained about me social security card being laminated. So that's not done Because I have go to back to present my id's. I get paid this Friday and need to save for the fine I got when my car got towed away. and my union dues also and off course this is a temporary stop before move to L.A. how temporary I don't know!

I am now at my dads house and have already landed a job, now the work begins. I just arrived yesterday, It is actually a long term temp position through a temp service called personnel plus. Once I get money coming in I should be able to market myself. and get all those things I need to act.

Okay the move did not happen on the 10th of July as matter of fact I have yet to make the move. But My Dad says he is going to pick me up tomorrow afternoon. It sucks to be moving with a parent at this age but I it's the best decision I could make for myself right now. Here is the expectations, there will be some fallout from my move. first is the utility bills At the residence in which I currently stay are paid by me 100% of them and the only other person that earns money in that household is working on a welfare type program called wex in which her employment will be terminated in about 2 weeks. since I am behind on them they will most likely be turned off when I leave. this happened the person I live with is my mom and decides to make me watch my sister and pick her up and which is fine except it limits my ability to find a full time job since I have to be there all the time. I talked about this several times it was rejected as an excuse. For many years I have been able to do background work to pay my portion of the bills but this is no longer possible because my cars was towed for not having registration. I talked to her about this possibility a long time before it happened but she didn't care, she said pick her up or move. See the reason I was there to begin with was to help her financially I actually had the money to move out several times but passed up the opportunity because she couldn't support herself by herself. So I now have no car and I am cut off from what was my only stable income source. Moving to my dads will solve these problems, I will be able to audition, do extra work if need be, find a job temp or not! the funny thing is now that the time is near I kinda don't want to go but I have no choice I can't make this work and I tried. Now hopefully my dad will come through for me and come get me this way I can do my work and set myself up with a successful acting career!

Public Transportation the high desert Is pathetic schedules run once an hour and That's Normal. To top it off the only travel on or near the major streets. So if your destination is not on bear valley rd or highway 18. Then you are completely screwed. This is just frustration I could have went to my dads to stay if only had transportation to the greyhound bus station. Unfortunately I can't afford A cab which goes to show how broke I am right. Well My Summer Sucks so far hows yours going! Seems like I can't ask anyone for help all I got say is I will Remember those who did and those who didn't, And you Know who you are!

The time is coming for when I move in with my dad. I am doing this because it's closer to Los angeles and currently have no automobile which makes acting impossible from where I am at. I don't want to be living with my dad very long So As soon as I get there I am going to be off to the temp agencies. they probably will give me a very low paying job. like minimum wage for maximum work!I am going to be saving every penny while I am there. The sales on ebay are going okay only a few hundred here and there. I sold A few TGP's on ebay. Also Invested IN apple stock with the intent of riding the wave of hype due to the release of the iphone. I read an article that said it is expected to go up to $200 a share, while it is currently at $121 and change. Also I need to deal with credit issues some lousy Internet company charged my card for something I didn't know I was buying and resulted in overdrawing my account. I am on that damn chex systems again.After all this try to squeeze some acting classes and productions in somewhere.

Wow It's June Already! After having my car impounded and finding out it is going to cost $1400 to get out of impound have resolved myself to relocate. My father lives in La puente and it is a short bus ride on the 484 to Los Angeles. The plan is to move in with him. This won't happen until July 10Th. Meanwhile I found A temporary answer to my cash flow problems. I designed a tgp website and sold it and plan replicating this process several times. Also when I move I look forward to having gainful employment because my dad tells me jobs are plentiful were he lives. The jobs are of the labor variety but they will do for short period of few months that it will take to save money for relocating to La from there. the next months between now and then will most likely try my patience as I will not be able to audition, take classes, do anything acting related and of course my family is a pain in the ass (i.e. mother, aunts, uncles well all them)

I called the impound lot today. They said they impound fee's would be around $1400. That sucks I don't have the kinda cash right now. He also volunteered that it would be misdemeanor to abandon the car and that the impound lot would take me to court for the fee's. Okay already I get it It is illegal to not money California right!

I finally got caught I had no tags and I got pulled over and there went my car. Cops are such assholes He could have let me off with a warning. Anyways this makes pursuing my acting career from 100 miles away a lot more difficult. If will get an audition I will need to plan in advanced and have plenty of money which has been a problem in the past because of the lack of work out here in Apple valley, Ca. I did just apply to work at the new Target and even though I think the job would suck it's better then never having to go to audition and do other stuff.

I went to my grandmothers funeral today followed by a family gathering at my Nina's house. My family is way too big. I didn't even know most of them that were there. I am hoping there won't any fights over my grandmothers estate, but knowing this family their will be several fights. There has already petty arguments over little things like a vase she gave to someone when someone wanted it. I mean technically she gave it to both at different times and just didn't remember doing it, so they had to argue. I am not involved in these arguments and never will be!

An interesting thread on showfax Discussion Board about people who book a lot of commercials. two of them came right and said I have never taken a class. I have also heard from a couple of people in small dayplayer roles(less then 5 lines) that they never took an acting class. The disccusion link. So what does that mean to me, it is possible to book a commercial without ever taking a class. but to be honest I think that more experienced actor have it easier booking in all mediums and also people do sometimes get incredibly lucky. I know my resume small is due in part to luck and a lot of submitting myself.

Crossing over(background)

I was recalled for Crossing Over which shot in el monte. At the Begining of the day I was really excited because I had featured extra bit with possibility of an upgrade. The scene would have been with Harrison Ford, but for some reason they decided not to use me for the scene. instead a couple of ICE agents drag me out of the factory but in the background. The shoot lasted 13 hours and I didn't get home till around 2am. the only thing I liked about this day is I finally got some overtime.

Today I worked on Crossing over starring Harrison Ford. A movie about immigrants of different nationalities struggling to achieve legal status in Los Angeles. The film deals with the border, document fraud, the asylum and green card process, work-site enforcement, naturalization, the office of counter terrorism and the clash of cultures. I am also scheduled to go back and work on this movie again on 5/4/2007.

The picture shows my grandfathers burial and in the background the honor Guard. I attended his funeral on Monday April 23rd. He was a veteran who served in two wars, World War 2 and in Korea. Also Seen family members that I haven't seen for close to 20 years. Wow my family is big! It was really kind of awkward Because many of the family members remembered me but I didn't remember them, probably because I was really young last time we saw each other. He will be missed! The worst part is we might have to bury two family members back to back because my grandmother is sick with cancer.

I don't know any specifics about the scam and since I never meet with them I can't really judge for myself but I think I shall stay away because I have heard that they are a scam from many actors.

Heartland

Working on Heartland as Motel Guest.
Had a good day today. The scene was shot at a run down hotel called the Manor hotel in Hawthorne, California. I was an extra and my role was transient hotel guest. Yes A homeless person. One of the other extras joked about about getting a tetnus shot after the shoot. Well Of course the was a lot of down time in wich grilled some fellow extras for info about getting speaking parts. It turns there where a couple of guys there who have done a lot of commercials. anyways there isn't much new information at this point, But knowing that these guys who are extras make a living doing commercials, for the most part anyways has inspired to get busy. Next Head shots, commercial agent, Temp work(necessary evil) unless I can figure out something else.

Walk Hard

I worked on Walk Hard today. Walk is A new movie starring
John C Riley. A comedy about some made up celebrity called Dewey Cox and his t.v. show. Which is basically where he sings some really corny song. I had fun Because it was hilarious, then Cheryl Tiegs came and also sang. God she was awful, lucky this is a comedy.

Out of area frustration

I was called today for an under 5 role on Jimmy kimmel live which was schedule to work on Monday in Las Vegas. Provided that I was meet with producers of the show today at their offices. Of course I was not able to do this because where I stay is minimum 2 hour drive. This was an Aftra job and It would have been nice to have more notice because I would like to have taken this job. what happened was I submitted to a notice on hollywoodos.com for under 5 part that works in las vegas. Shortly after that I noticed the casting notice requested fluency in the Spanish Language which I do not have.so I had to turn it down. at this point I was only dealing with casting directors from hollywoodos.com and they cast extras mostly. I was contacted by their principal casting director Caroline liem who asked me if I was confirmed. I then explained the situation to her. But that wasn't it yet they called back again asking if I would come to an audition if the were willing to work around the Spanish part. they still wanted me to come to an audition today they said. Again because where I live last minute audition are really difficult to manage. So again I turned it down. This was very frustrating for me because I wanted to do it because it was an under 5, But I didn't think it would be good idea to promise them I would be there when I knew I couldn't make it. I hope that casting director isn't to frustrated with me and if she is well she'll get over it!

This really sucks, this is the second they invited me to audition for this project and also the second I had a schedule conflict. But it is conflicting with extra work. To me an audition for a principal part is more important then extra work. But regardless of how important it is I can't just blow off the extra I am scheduled to work becuase that is my main source of income at the moment and that would pretty much stop me from working for the same casting company in the future. So this means I have to pass on yet another audition the same one I passed on last time.

I got a fitting for a film called walk hard. the call for the 70's look and my hair being around shoulder length they booked me. it will be only 1/4 check meaning 2 hours and about 30 bucks but that's not the point. the workday will be on the 22nd of
march and most likely long but who knows. right now I will welcome overtime, I need the money.

Cell phone Problems

While on the set yesterday I got a call from Posh entertainment. the wanted to interview me and said they had some projects coming up that I fit. At least that's what managed to piece to together I couldn't hear her. Also I got another call on the way home it was my Mom. I couldn't hear her over the cars engine and radio with the phone volume all the way up. I think I need a new phone.
